Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT is a healing tool that can provide impressive results for physical, emotional, and performance issues.  


Emotional Freedom Techniques or widely known as EFT or Tapping is a body/mind self-help method.  It combines a gentle touch together with mindful and vocal attention to thoughts and feelings.  EFT involves gently tapping with your fingertips on acupuncture points on the hands, face and body while focusing (temporarily) upon an issue you wish to resolve.  It is such a simple basic technique, which can be learned within a few minutes and then used on a self-help basis whenever an emotional issue such as fear or anxiety occurs 


I have found this therapy to be extremely helpful whilst working with clients and gives a tool which can use in between sessions too.


As well as relieving specific problems EFT has a cumulative effect – each issue addressed will help to reduce the overall stress level experienced by a person. Life seems to become more relaxed.


EFT is a complementary therapy and so, is not used to replace traditional medical or psychological treatment for any condition. However, it can act to supplement the healing effects of such treatments.


Though EFT is a powerful self-help tool it is advisable to seek help from a qualified professional EFT Practitioner if you are dealing with issues that may bring up big emotional responses. The aim with EFT is always to handle issues as gently as possible.
